The hen used in these pictures has not been harmed in any way. Lola is our fabulous stunt chicken and can even do a quite convincing version of "play dead"!
Now that is a very fine hat. Something tells me it won't keep your ears warm this winter though...
When I was editing this picture, I mistook Ella's arm for another chicken leg and it kinda freaked me out for a minute until I took a closer look!!
